MNRS held its 35th Anniversary Conference in Columbus, March 23 - 27, 2011. We
were the first regional society (if you don’t count WICHE as the forerunner of WIN), and
we may be biased, but we think we’re the best! We are continuing the celebration of our
35 years until the 36th Annual conference..

We are leaders in awarding Dissertation and Seed Grants to our members, and we
need your help to continue to fund those grants. We initiated an Anniversary Circle to
recognize this milestone, and to raise funds for the grants. We’re asking each regular
member to join the Circle by giving a multiplier of the Anniversary: 35 x 10, or $350,
and each student to give $35. These amounts work out to only $6.73 and $0.67 per week.
Of course, more would be appreciated from those who can do so. Remember all monies
donated go to fund the research grants, so it’s a good way to “Give Back” to our great
