The Midwest Nursing Research Society advances the scientific basis of nursing practice
and promotes development of nurse scientists.
In 1975, a handful of nurses involved in a Department of Health and Human Services' research project -- the Nursing Faculty Research Development
in the Midwest (NFRDM), planted the seeds that would grow into today's premier nursing research organization -- the Midwest Nursing Research
Society (MNRS). Today, with more than 1,300 members, MNRS has moved to the forefront of promoting, disseminating and utilizing nursing research
throughout the Midwest, profoundly influencing the enormous growth in quality and quantity of nursing research for more than 30 years.

We invite you to become a part of our exciting growth, at a time when changes in healthcare delivery make nursing research more important than ever.
Membership in MNRS is open to all individuals both within and outside MNRS's 13- state Midwest region, including Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Michigan,
Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin. Students and retired nurses are eligible for regular membership
status at reduced fees.
