GRANT REVIEWER CRITERIA SUMMARY

The MNRS Grants Committee is pleased to announce the use of new Grant application reviewer criteria for this year. It will be used in a pilot study focusing on its’ usefulness. This criteria was graciously provided to MNRS by Sigma Theta Tau Institute (STTI). A summary of the criteria has been provided below for applicants use. Please feel free to reach out to staff or either Grant’s Committee Co-Chairs with any questions.

Sigma Theta Tau International (STTI) Grant Reviewer Criteria Summary
Both the Grant Application and the Reviewer Critique will be completed online. The written critique you will receive post submission will address strengths, weaknesses, clarity and consistency in the application. Please focus on the following areas.
• Specific aims/purpose
• Background and significance
• Conceptual framework
• Literature review
• Design and methods
• Data analysis
• Writing style
• Supporting documentation
• Budget
• Overall summary  


GRANT EXTENSION REQUESTS

If you would like an extension to your current grant deadline, please download our "Grant Extension Request Instructions" and complete the "Grant Extension Request" form and the "Revised Budget & Timeline" form and return it with your plan for moving forward and your Principal Investigator's (PI's) signature.  


GRANT FINAL REPORT

If you are a grant recipient and have completed or are nearing the end of your term, please complete the Grant Final Report

Have your grants reviewed before you apply!

A roster of experts have agreed to do one pre-submission grant review and/or one manuscript review per year with the payment for this service to be made directly to the MNRS Foundation. Learn more here.
