Anna Lalor Burdick Foundation

The Foundation's objective is to educate young women about human reproduction in order to broaden and enhance their options in life. Of particular interest are programs that focus on young women who have inadequate access to information regarding reproductive health, including the topics of contraception and pregnancy termination, and as such may be particularly lacking options in their lives. Grantmaking emphasizes support for projects that demonstrate realistic plans to achieve greater financial self-sufficiency; those where funding will increase public visibility, improve the organization's standing with other funders, facilitate overall organizational development or add a new dimension or capability to operations. Also of interest are collaborative projects and those with a proven ability to reach out to, and include and involve young women, especially young mothers and pre-teens. The Foundation will also consider support for new ideas, initiatives, and demonstration projects, which, if proven effective, may be successfully replicated or provide multiple benefits.

Grant Range: $10,000 To $50,000
